Hi Dan, I enjoyed looking at your family photos.  Aren't grandchildren wonderful? I have 11 grandchildren: 7 girls & 4 boys. My husband and I had all sons, grown men now. It's so nice to visit with Polio Today friends and realize that we are not alone. Pain is one of the things we have in common.  But what I enjoy is our collective spirit. Pain aside, we can do it.

Do you know of any medication or dietary supplement that will help lessen the effects of Post-Polio?

thanks very much for the update. If you can provide me with a link or hardcopy when the story runs, I'd really appreciate it! Also, to update you, we are very close to providing PolioToday.org hats, mugs, t-shirts and bumper stickers on the site. Liz and I hope to make it available within the next month or so.

Thanks for joining the HVL PPS group. I'm sorry PPS has progressed so much for you. For myself, it's a little here, a little there, always aggravating, sometimes devastating, never consistent. You've got a great attitude and I hope you spread some of it our way. Be well. Gail

Daniel, you really sound like your in pain, I can't tell you the difference carnitine has made for energy, it's an amino acid, carnitine is for energy and pain, magnesium is for muscle pain, and the pins and needles feeling one gets with PPS I control with Vit. B6, it's great for nerves, oh and B12 is also great for energy also. You can research more information at poliowa@upnaway.com, they have tons of info to read. Good luck! Cheryl

Oh Dan, I had no idea how hard PPS had been for you or of all the major changes you have made in your life! And to think you have been with IPPSO for so long. This forum is wonderful as it gives us more room to tell who we are and places to discuss things. Thanks for joining IPPSO! Sending you a hug, Shari

Hi Dan,
So glad to see you here on Polio.org, isn't it a great a site. They have so many group discussions going already. In reading yoru profile I am sad to hear how hard PPS rocked your world. I certainly can relate to that. Once I figure out how to invite friends I will do that. If you go to groups you can join IPPSO on her if you would like. Hope you find this group as fasicnating as I have. Hugs, Shari
P.S.: Love your picture here!
