Hi Barbara, Thank you for your message about your travels with your daughter. How exciting! My daughter and I used to travel. It was so much fun! Now I have trouble walking a few blocks to the store. But I never get descouraged. I survived two cancers, surgery, chemoand 11 days in ICU as a result of the first chemo treatment. I was left with nerve damge throughout my body. I also have several autoamune disorders and other diagnoses. Post polio isn't my biggest challange. I spen a lot of time on my jewelry making and donating my crafts to non-profits for resale. We have different lives but both are good. Keep up the wonerful spirit! That's what keeps us going!

I KNOW HAVING POLIO HAS MADE ME A STRONGER PERSON. I GOT IT IN 54. WAS IN IRON LUNG FOR 18 MONTHS. LOTS OF SURGERIES HAD MY SPINE ALL FUSED WITH TITANIUM. CAN'T BEND OVER OVER FOR......I'M 64. LIVE IN SOUTHERN CALIF.
