I have always had difficulty swallowing since the acute infection. This improved somewhat so that I did not have liquids coming out my nose but in the last 20 years the episodes of choking have increased and now I have food that remains in my throat and I am again having difficulty with liquids coming out my nose. I have sleep apnea. I am experiencing more fatigue and cannot get down to get things in my low cupboards easily. I am having mood problems dealing with the emotional issues of being so sick as a child. I have asthma that is difficult to treat. I have chronic hip, back, neck and knee problems.
