Members of this group are polio survivors who live in and around the San Diego area.Meetings are odd month Saturdays at the County Health Department building at 3851 Rosecrans Street, San Diego, CA 92110. Because I contacted polio as an eight month old baby, I've never known any other way to live, and have adapted my life to suit my limitations. The wheelchair use snuck up on me gradually, from using a manual chair to shop or go distances to full-time in a power-chair now.
