3 listservs. Started & was first coordinator & long active in No. Virginia PPS Support Group. Now attend rarely. Still have polio friends, visit various websites.
Please describe how polio has changed your life.
Can't remember life without it! At peak I walked independently, no "assistive devices" except crutches outside and for distances & stairs. Married, 3 kids, widowed, now 6 grandkids -- but I am heavier, weaker, slower, awkward, using assistive devices listed above.
