OMG, Off a few days and my favorite Person comes aboard-LOL... Welcome to you Dr. Bruno- it is with great respect and from my heart that you have come aboard this wonderful site!!! It brings so many of us together all over the world..
I wish you well and just know we are all here for you, too.
I owe you so much for all you have done for me - you gave me 'my life' back. Your book "The Polio Paradox" is surely a Bible to not only Polio Survivors but many other people with Disabilities.

Thanks to my bud!! Be Well

Dr. Bruno -- I finally read The Polio Paradox. I'd put it off thinking it would be dull or depressing. My, was I wrong! I couldn't put it down... laughing and crying as I progressed through what turned out to be answers about questions regarding my entire life. My general attitude toward any difficulty is to take action; however, with PPS I was at a loss. I just didn't have a clue what to do. Your book gave me suggestions and permission. Among other things, I've upped my protein, lowered my caffeine and noticed a difference. Best of all, I've changed my attitude! I can't thank you enough.

Welcome! Indeed, Dr. Bruno. Where would we be without you, and your research, and efforts - it's impossible to express, and not related in bit to "word-finding difficulty, a problem for polio survivors that has nothing to do with memory loss or Alzheimer's disease (Bruno)." It's simply unadulterated awe, gratitude, and respect. Thank you.

Welcome Dr Bruno, Thank you for all the help you have given to me through reading your Internet postings about PPS. Your shared knowledge has helped me considerably here in Australia.

Welcome to Polio Today Dr. Bruno. Glad to see you here. Missed your being part of the Mexico Conference and I have yet to do a report on it. You were missed.

I too have read you books and used you guidelines for PPS for over 11 years now. I still remember you calling me in Nevada when I had had neck surgery and was freaking out wondering if I would ever get better. I will never forget your words, "Wait two years before you start freaking out as you should be better by then". You were right! I was better but it was sure a long two years.

Thanks you Dan for letting me know Dr. Bruno is here. I just don't seem to be able to figure out how to get a notice if I post and someone replies.

Again Welcome Dr. Bruno!

Welcome to Polio Today!

I read your book a few years ago and it was extraordinarily helpful in understanding what had happened to my body when I had polio in 1959, AND what was continuing to happen as I aged. Reading your book gave me the courage to admit that there was indeed something happening to me and that realization allowed me to take back control of my own body and my own life.

I would also like to thank you for insight into the best way to file for Social Security Disability, priceless information. We all owe you a debt of gratitude.

Thank you very much Dr. Bruno.
