Please describe how polio has changed your life.
It became a challenge that I was determined to overcome and put behind me, and I did so until the 80's even tho I have severe atrophy from my left hip down, surgically corrected club foot, now a drop foot that has created a severe tripping hazard so I am back in a leg brace to lift the foot, struggling with fatigue, weak muscles, falling frequently.
