We just arrived back home from our 7 month motor home trip and had to wait to be hooked up to a new cable company yesterday. Having my computer hooked up through cable is so very much faster so researching this wonderful site that Gladys and Rick are working on with the Salk Institute. We had a Verizin cell Internet card in the motor home, but was very slow most of the time. It's good to see that you have joined this Salk Institute site. A special hello to Tessa Jupp who we met when she traveled to the U.S. and spoke at the IPPSO Post Polio International Conference in Miami in 2007. She educated us on so many things to assist us to have a better quality of life. Stella, I feel like I know you too through your postings to the IPPSO bulletin board. . How wonderful to have the Salk Institute working with us. It lends us so much creditability.

The W.A. post polio site is www.upnaway.com/-poliowa
Tessa is going on holidays soon, so if you have questions for her better get them to her quickly. Tessa is the researcher there, and is an RN.
