HI all,

I have a medical condition that my doctor has suggested a pace maker to treat. It's something that is not urgent and at this point may be elective.

One benefit night be less fatigue and more energy to do things, but the doctor can't be sure given my post-polio situation.

Given my arms and legs tire from over use, I am wondering if I can really make use of having more energy.

Does anyone have a pacemaker and did it help with fatigue?

Thanks.

Bill

Don't know a lot about pacemakers (my heart is apparently one of the few things in my body working correctly), but I do know that a lot of factors can affect fatigue, muscle pain, etc.  I have had times when I was so weak and fatigued I could barely stand up, and other times when I could walk a mile without difficulty (albeit slower than my wife would like).
