I have severe Neuropathy from both PPPs and Diabetes, and have tried all the so-called meds that the Drs use.  As I am also diabetic my Endocrinologist put me on Metanx, and got almost immediate relief.  I have been taking it twice a day for several years now, and it still is doing the job.  The only problem I have is it is not covered by health insurance or Medicare. I have been able to get my RX filled at Brand Direct Health in Louisiana for substantially less than the $400 -$500  that regular pharmacies charge.  Metanx has saved my sanity.  If you try it, please be aware that Walgreen, CVS, etc try to give you a "generic" equivalent made in China.  DO NOT accept it.  It is NOT equivalent and DOES NOT WORK!

Be aware that Metanx is a combo of Metafolin, methyl B12, and B6 -- three supplements that you can buy OTC relatively cheaply.

Thanks Dan, I will look into it.  remember the important thing is it works.
