I have used our hot tub for hydrotherapy.  For me it is the best.  I can move my aching weak muscles easily in the water. The warmth is very comforting.  I need to watch that I do not stay in the tub too long.  If I do then I am really weak and muscles are exhausted.  I do some yoga asanas in the tub to keep me moving.  So for me that kind of Hydrotherapy is good.

We purchased a walk-in hydrotherapy tub last fall.  The jets are heated and it is wonderful, I could spend hours in it if I had the time.  Since going to a pool is such a chore and costly- this is the best thing we could have done.  Love it recommend it.  I have a longer one so I can sit and stretch my legs and do my leg stretches- all I can say is Awwwwww.

I have a hot tub and it does help my aches and pains at the end of the day.
